Workshops
The didgeridoo, first played by the Aboriginals of Australia's Arnhem Land
many thousands of years ago, is one of the most rewarding instruments on
earth. It is both simple and challenging to play; physically and mentally
relaxing (due to the breath work involved); a gateway to educational lessons
in geography, history, science, culture, art and reading; and most of all
... extremely fun!
Whether you are an experienced player or someone who enjoys the wonderful sounds, this illuminating event will take you one step further on your journey through sound. This highly motivational and interactive workshop will cover various topics, stressing circular breath and rhythm. Lindsey's and Jeremy's diverse backgrounds bring forth a balance of technical ability and passion for playing, ultimately creating a heightened awareness of the mystical didgeridoo. Student didges will be available to play during the workshop, but if you have your own didgeridoo feel free to bring it.

Dragon Fly Rhythms is pleased
to offer a workshop on how to make an agave didgeridoo. In the Americas,
agave is used for everything from a food source, fuel, medicine, and construction
materials, as well as being incorporated into rituals, ceremonies and prescribed
social relations. Whether you are an experienced player or someone who enjoys
the wonderful sounds, this illuminating, hands-on event will reveal the
step-by-step process of creating your own didgeridoo.
This workshop starts with a splitting ceremony and continues, ending with
